PJ's new base of operations is...

To be truly independent means more than filing 1040s instead of W2s. It means more than cutting the chord with the corporate structure. It means more than operational freedom. Being independent means that you are able to nurture what's best of your service in the way you know is best for your clients.

I've locked in a deal with Tom at SportFit, which is a private training studio and athletic recovery center in beautiful Westlake Village (address below).

Tom has ran this facility for the last seven years and has recently tripled its square footage. With the additional space he has added an infra-red sauna, a functional training area with turf and various implements including kettlebells, TRX straps, elastic bands, Vipr's, and more. He's even added a ninja training rig with obstacle training devices like the salmon ladder, peg boards, floating boards, and climbing grips. Truly Tom has created a venue that appeals to trainers and clients that don't want to be limited to one modality of exercise.

I'm excited to receive my current clients here and am also looking forward to the opportunity to cater my services to athletes who wanted a more serious environment than the one my previous employer provided. The best of all is that even though everyone here is serious about fitness, no one seems to have an ego! Everyone I've met is friendly and professional. Dare I say I'm already proud of my decision?

The icing on the cake is that it is financially feasible to charge my clients less than what I had to charge at my previous location. So, I'm ready to go!
